Attorney Daniel Werner is an internationally known expert in laws that protect workers from abuse and labor exploitation
Dan focuses much of his work litigating cases on behalf of migrant workers and immigrant survivors of severe labor exploitation, including work visa-related fraud, forced labor, wage theft, human trafficking, child labor, and other forms of exploitation. Dan’s work touches on a vast array of industries, including:

- Automotive manufacturing
- Offshore welding
- Janitorial work
- Farm labor
- Landscaping
- Construction
- Recycling
- Domestic service
Dan also drafted federal legislation benefitting human trafficking and labor trafficking survivors. Provisions Dan authored are now part of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA), the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), and the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. He continues to push for pro-worker legislative reforms.
Under Daniel’s leadership, Radford Scott is among a very small number of firms who are equipped to handle human rights cases involving several labor abuses and working conditions under the TVPA and related laws.
