Experienced attorneys supporting cases under the Americans with Disabilities Act

Our law firm has years of experience in providing dedicated legal services to clients and cases that violate the Americans with Disabilities Act. As a federal law, the ADA offers protections for a disabled person’s civil rights and prohibits discrimination, including employment discrimination, against anyone due to the basis of disability. “Disability” is defined broadly, and includes physical or mental impairment and medical conditions that substantially limits one or more major life activities or major bodily functions.

Employers are required to provide equal access and reasonable accommodations for disabled workers in the work environment, such as modifying workstations, adjusting work schedules, providing interpreters, or reassigning an employee to a vacant position they are qualified for. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) enforces the ADA’s employment-related provisions and provides guidelines for employers to ensure compliance.
